Privacy Policy
Bluewater Automations ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with — both for visitors to this website and for the customers of the plumbing businesses we provide automation services to.
Who this applies to
This policy covers two groups of people: (1) visitors to bluewaterautomations.com.au, and (2) end customers of our clients — the people who call a plumbing business that uses our missed-call automation service.
What we collect
- Website visitors: if you email us, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you tell us in that email. If you book a discovery call, we may also collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, information about your current missed-call process, any optional notes you provide, and your appointment date, time and meeting information — used to schedule and conduct the call, respond to your enquiry, assess whether Bluewater is relevant to your business, and maintain an appropriate prospect record and follow up about the enquiry. We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this site.
- Our clients (plumbing businesses): business name, ABN, contact details, and billing information needed to provide and invoice the service.
- End customers of our clients: when someone calls a client's business number and the call is missed, our system may process the caller's phone number, a recording of any voicemail left and its transcript, the caller's name and a callback number if given, and details about the job they're requesting (such as the type of service needed and how urgent it is). This is used to send an automated acknowledgement to the caller and pass a summary of their enquiry on to our client.
How we use it
We use this information solely to operate the missed-call automation service (acknowledging the caller and passing their enquiry on to our client), to bill our clients, and to respond to enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use caller information for any marketing purpose of our own.
Who we share it with
We use third-party service providers to deliver the automation, and personal information may pass through their systems as part of that:
- Cal.com — scheduling discovery calls and delivering appointment and video-meeting details
- Twilio — call forwarding, telephony and voicemail infrastructure
- Deepgram — voicemail transcription
- Kudosity — SMS delivery
- Zapier — automation workflow connecting the missed call to the acknowledgement and lead summary
- Notion — storage of lead and enquiry information for our clients
- Stripe — payment processing for client billing (Stripe processes client payment details directly; we do not store card numbers)
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on its platform. We do not share personal information with any other third party, and we do not sell data.
Data retention
Caller information processed by the automation (phone number, voicemail recording and transcript, and any details given about the job) is retained only as long as needed to operate the service and pass the enquiry on to our client, and is not used for any purpose beyond that. Client business records are retained for the duration of the service relationship and as required by Australian tax and business record-keeping law.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations to retain business records). Contact us using the details below.
